Friday, June 2, 2017

New Health Analytics is pleased to announced that its proprietary Patient Blood Management System (PBMS) received an honorable mention award in the GE Health Cloud Innovation Challenge, a competition among Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to develop a cloud-based application that has the greatest potential to improve clinical, financial and/or operational outcomes in healthcare.

In the regulated, managed care world, the PBMS offers health care customers accurate, reliable and trustworthy business intelligence to ensure that hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers appropriately utilize transfusion resources as well as provide safe, efficient and effective transfusion medicine services.

The PBMS relies on a patented and proprietary software application with an intuitive user interface to benchmark performance outcomes for transfusion medicine services and create and manage feedback reports for the benchmarking process. In addition, the PBMS can acquire primary data at the source, compile the data in an analytically meaningful manner for benchmarking, prepare web-based reports, and maintain and manage cumulative historical data and reports.
